98weeks@ Marra.tein

98weeks is happy to launch the Feminism reading group’s third session. The first two sessions were respectively dedicated to experimental women literature, and arab and Islamic Feminism. The third session will address the relationship between the body, post-humanism, science-fiction, and the law.

We will begin with an intensive week grouping three readings:

Saturday November 8; 4-6pm: Rosi Braidotti, Locating Deleuze’s Eco-Philosophy between Bio/Zoe-Power and Necro-Politics
Tuesday November 11; 7 - 9pm: Ursula Le Guin, The Dispossessed
Friday November 14; 7:30 - 9.30pm: Beatriz Preciado, Testo Junkie

Sidsel Nelund, theorist and writer involved with 98weeks’ Feminisms since the launch of the research, will join the first three meetings.

Starting Saturday November 22, the reading group will resume its weekly scheduling.

Please contact us if you wish to attend the coming sessions and for access to the dropbox for the readings.
